Salvation Army LA Red Shield volunteers are held to the same standards as our employees including application, background check, Child Safe training, and orientation.

How to Become a Volunteer

Becoming a volunteer is easy–start by filling out this form with your interests. Staff will provide volunteer assignment details and any additional training to all active volunteers, as necessary. Please note, the intake process can take up to one month. All applicants must be at least 16 years old.
